Customer Service Specialist (Full-time Position)

We are a small, family-owned, organic, and fair-trade coffee company and we are excited to be adding to our team! We have two, immediate, full-time, openings.

A high degree of organization, good customer service & communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve are qualities needed to be successful in this role. Must have prior customer service experience and a desire to work for a mission-driven company.

Responsibilities include:

– Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times

– Managing large amounts of incoming calls

– Responding promptly to customer inquiries
– Communicating with customers through various channels (phone, email, website, in-person)

– Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints

– Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions

– Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests

– Keeping records of customer interactions, comments and complaints

– Communicating and coordinating with colleagues respectfully

– Ensuring customer satisfaction and providing professional customer support

– Building sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with your coworkers, and our customers

Being a small company, the position may also include other miscellaneous tasks.

Must be proficient in QuickBooks. Prior coffee experience a plus; experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Trello and Slack also encouraged. Women encouraged to apply.
