Facility & Building Maintenance Assistant

Fulltime- 40 hours, non-exempt

Position Summary

Provide excellent janitorial services, assisting in zero waste stream (composting program), general repairs & maintenance while working both indoors and outdoors.

Landscaping – general plant maintenance & weeding, Assist Facilities Coordinator as needed. Entry level, opportunity to learn & grow.

Skill Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail & organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to receive instruction and follow through on assigned tasks and projects
  • Basic math skills
  • General “handy person” skills set (elementary equipment repair & main.)
  • Knowledge of permaculture & sustainability
  • Good Computer skills
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs on a regular and repetitive basis, stand and walk for long periods.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of seasonal temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
  • Punctuality is expected & required

Qualifications & Licenses

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Oregon Valid Driver’s License
