Health Pioneer Theater launches Weekly, Live Videocasts

October 26th 2021

Health Pioneer Theater (HPT) is a weekly, live videocast that showcases rare, pre-recorded videointerviews of natural health movement trailblazers in the 20th century.

Every Tuesday at 5 P.M. Pacific, viewers will be inspired as HPT previews excerpts of video interviews telling the stories of people who pioneered America’s return to natural foods and natural living. The special guest on October 26th is natural foody author Jonathan Kaufman. Jonathan will discuss his latest book Hippie Food, filled with fascinating stories on how “the counterculture also reshaped the way most of us eat.” .

This live show includes guests and commentary by executive producers Bonnie McDonald Dixon and Jerry J. Smith. Health Pioneer Theater is powered by Subscribe at no cost for weekly reminders at this direct link: Donations and ongoing sponsorships are welcome to help continue producing these interviews, while these pioneers can still tell their own story in their own words.

Each live show will also stream simultaneously on Facebook and YouTube and be recorded for future viewing in a follow-up emailed link. Some of the interviews include:

  • Product innovators Patricia Bragg, Brenda Watson, and Dick & Pat Turanskis of GloryBee®
  • Pioneering retailers Cheryl Hughes, Howard Pollack, Pat Sardell and Debra Stark
  • Physicians Dr. Joseph Pizzorno, Dr. Jonathan Wright, and Dr. Tori Hudson
  • Herbal legends Michael Tierra and Mark Blumenthal
  • Natural foods torchbearers Robert Tepper, Marta Boyette and Amber Dennis

Whether a producer, purveyor or consumer, a debt of gratitude is owed to the many pioneers and innovators of the Natural Health Movement. Sadly, most of these men and women are unknown and unappreciated by those that now benefit from their pertinacity.
