PORTLAND, Ore. – Northwest-based organic produce distributor Organically Grown Company (OGC) is thrilled to announce the addition of Jan McCaffrey to its leadership team. Jan joins OGC with a notable career spanning from entrepreneurial ventures to global leadership.

Jan most recently served as Director of Human Resources for the global civil engineering firm David Evans & Associates. She also directed HR and organizational development for Adidas, where she built human capital functions and tools from the ground up.

Additionally, Jan has owned her own small business and devoted time to policy development and advocacy. While in Washington D.C, she advocated on behalf of the Family Medical Leave Act, monumental legislation that became an early highlight and foundation for her professional life.

The thread that has run throughout Jan’s career is a deep commitment to innovation, mentorship, and exciting and engaging coworkers. She has a deep passion for building and enhancing robust programs that nurture positive, rewarding experiences.

“Jan brings the deep wisdom that is rooted in a career of putting people first,” said Elizabeth Nardi, CEO of Organically Grown Company. “She’ll be an incredible addition to our team and will lead both internal work and broader programs to support the needs of our stakeholder base. In a day and age where business growth is directly tied to having the right supportive and innovative people practices, Jan’s experience will be instrumental in OGC’s continued leadership for the organic trade.”
