Perishable Buyer Job Opening – Central Co-op, Seattle

Central Co-op is a natural foods grocery store established in 1978. We are rooted in the Capitol Hill neighborhood and owned by the people who work and shop here.

We are seeking a collaborative and knowledgeable individual to be our Perishables Buyer. The person in this role will be responsible for ordering, stocking, and maintaining availability of the products in the Chill and Freeze sub-departments.  Your work will directly impact Central Co-op’s delivery of the finest natural food products from in and around Seattle and the state of Washington.

You will work closely with our Center Store management team in the ongoing revision of our product selection and purchasing systems. Your attention to detail and previous ordering experience will help us build a more resilient future, and your clear, considerate communication style will provide consistency to our Center Store team daily.
