Prepared Foods Manager Job Opening – Moscow Food Co-op

The Prepared Foods Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the kitchen and deli, including supervision of the Kitchen, Deli, and Purchasing and Logistics (P&L) departments. This position is responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by coordinating production of attractive, healthy food while meeting department goals for sales, margin, labor, cleanliness, and customer service. This position works closely with the operations management team, Marketing and the Store Manager to support achievement of the Moscow Food Co-op’s strategic goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Commitment to the mission and goals of the Moscow Food Co-op.
  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant or deli; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience with hiring, training, corrective action, scheduling, etc.
  • Demonstrated competency with financial management including, pricing, margin control, and labor budgets.
  • Proven knowledge of natural, organic, vegetarian and other specialty cuisines including various dietary restrictions.
