James Dills

James Dills is a husband and father of two and works as a Wellness Consultant at the Ashland Food Co-op. He views the consolidation of our industry as a challenge of our time and values Provender Alliance as a voice for congruence between values and actions. James believes that financial and social/ecological success need not be mutually exclusive.

Growing up in the Pacific NW,  he and his brothers were raised by their single dad in the West Coast counter-culture, traveling from nudist colonies and music festivals to the next veggie potluck, and occasionally laying down in front of logging trucks to protect old-growth forest stands.

James is a lifelong learner who enjoys grappling with the tough issues of our day and finding creative solutions. He has a BS in Outdoor Adventure Leadership from Southern Oregon University and studied Applied Communications at Santa Barbara City College.
