Supply Chain Solidarity: How Retailers, Manufacturers, and Consumers Can Help Small-Farmers Fight Climate Change

Time: Thursday Oct 3rd from 10:15AM to 11:45AM

Location: Shoreline Room

Speaker(s): Anna Canning (Fair World Project) and Julia Gentner (Grow Ahead)

The current climate crisis feels both urgent & intimidating. Regenerative farming techniques are getting a lot of attention for their potential to both feed the world and cool the planet.
Small-scale farmers around the world are marrying traditional skills and new innovations to transform farming – and create a vision for a future that we all need.

That’s the big picture. This workshop with Fair World Project offers ways for companies to get involved and make real connections between the products you sell and inspiring grassroots solutions. Crowdfunding platform Grow Ahead joins in to offer ways to engage your customers with simple, actionable steps to support community livelihoods and invest in regenerative organic solutions. Supply chain solidarity–banding together to drive forward a fair future.
