Raising the Bar: Transgender Awareness for Yourself, Customers, and Colleagues

This workshop will address the details of transgender individuals working and shopping in our industry. It offers respectful training for non-transgender folks in all customer service levels. This 101 workshop will break down many questions, vocabulary, and how-to’s of interacting with transgender co-workers, vendors, and customers.The workshop is supported with engaging Power Point presentations and an activity for 101. The intention is to allow folks to learn new information and ask any questions they may have, in an appropriate environment, in order to allow the Natural Food Industry to continue to expand with the times and hold space for transgender individuals to access great food and long-lasting careers.
