JOB DESCRIPTION

Vital Leaf is seeking a Sales & Customer Service Assistant to provide excellent customer care and sales support to the Sales Manager.


DUTIES

●  Serve as primary B2B Customer Service interface at Vital Leaf, answering calls, and forwarding messages as needed

●  Daily task of approving, inputting, and releasing orders into the Inventory Management system

●  Proficiency with Excel, Google Docs, & SalesForce or similar CRM system required, with excellent

proficiency with Data Entry and fast typing

●  Serve as primary point of contact for all independent sales reps

●  Support Sales Manager in the management of all B2B functions : Follow up/initiate contact with accounts, field wholesale applications and/or provide links, send samples as needed, carry accounts through onboarding and first order process, providing POS or other support as needed for successful sales; serve as ongoing point of contact for these customers (secondary point of contact if they work through an independent sales rep).

●  Ensure proper training for Independent Sales reps by sharing training materials, providing training on the B2B ordering system, and providing assistance when needed for promos or special deals

●  Provide reps regular updates on pricing, sales terms, new products, and promotions

●  Assist Independent Sales Reps’ product samples per the Vital Leaf samples policy and budget for Independent Reps

●  Collect feedback from Independent Sales Reps regarding their accounts and help bring any problems to resolution

●  Assist Sales Manager in fielding questions from store buyers and provide product information, details, certifications, or lab tests, new item paperwork, etc.

●  Manage list of Current Brick-and-Mortar Stockists (to keep on website)

●  Maintain leads & input data and potential account information into the CRM database

●  Identify unique selling opportunities (eg., Open air markets, holiday fairs, cannabis events, subscription boxes, etc.)

●  Represent Vital Leaf at Tradeshows, Sales events, Promotional opportunities, demos which may, on occasion require weekend work.

●  Effective time management. Candidate must manage time and multiple tasks effectively and be willing to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.

●  Technically Competent – This position requires the candidate be computer savvy and proficient with CRM applications, google drive, word processing, and spreadsheets.
