Job Summary

We are searching for a seasoned Sales Specialist to join our team! This role covers accounts in Montana, Idaho, and Eastern Washington, and requires travel to visit these accounts in person.

The Sales Specialist is responsible for selling new and established lines into existing accounts, as well as opening new accounts in the region. This is a full-time position, requiring travel approximately 50% to Montana, Idaho, and Eastern Washington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Uncover growth opportunities by canvassing prospective customers within assigned region.
  • Solicit new business opportunities in designated markets by visiting accounts in person.
  • Present new products to current accounts; close new business within these accounts.
  • Process orders and coordinate business needs between retailer and vendor alike.
  • Stay current with the industry and understand competitor strengths and weaknesses.


  • This position requires 50% travel out of state
  • Reliable phone, PC / Mac, and Internet service
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficient in use of email, and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PPT)

Preferred Qualifications. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of two years sales experience, preferably in the natural grocery channel.
  • Able to self-direct and manage tasks and projects
  • High emotional intelligence, relationship management skills
  • Excellent selling and communication skills
  • Team player mentality and a positive attitude!

This is an independent contractor position. Salary/compensation based on level of experience.
