Senior HR Manager

General Description

This position oversees the daily management of GloryBee’s HR functions while providing direction and support to all members of the HR team. The Manager is responsible for training and development, employee engagement and retention, talent acquisition strategies, performance management, safety and workers compensation, development of policies and procedures, along with law and compliance. In addition, this position works alongside the Executive team as a business partner to strategically plan and drive measurable results.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • 5 years’ experience working in HR as a Senior Generalist and/or Manager
  • 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Proven demonstration of excellent communication, interpersonal, business and leadership skills.
  • Strong computer and technology skills including use of Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems, and HRIS systems. Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now, a plus.
  • Ability to set goals, work with teams, collaborate, and achieve results.
  • Ability to work strategically and hands-on in all areas of HR
  • Knowledge of all employment laws relevant to company operations; ability to understand and implement legal requirements pertinent to managing employment practicess
  • Ability to exercise strong professional discretion and confidentially regarding business and personnel concerns.
