SnoTemp Cold Storage to Open Refrigerated Warehouse in Redmond, Oregon

Slated to open in early 2019, the 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse will serve Central Oregon’s growing food and beverage industry 

Redmond, Ore. – SnoTemp Cold Storage today announced plans to build a 40,000 sq. ft. temperature controlled warehouse in Redmond, Ore. This will be SnoTemp’s third Oregon location. The facility will be located at 775 NE Hemlock and construction is planned to start this summer with an opening date projected for early 2019. The Redmond location will offer frozen (-5F), cooler (34F) and dry storage, be OLCC licensed and will be a USDA certified organic warehouse

SnoTemp currently operates two facilities along the I-5 corridor in Eugene and Albany and provides critical infrastructure for the Willamette Valley food and beverage manufacturing sector. “We’ve been focused on an expansion to Redmond for quite some time,” says Jason Lafferty, CEO. “

This new location has the potential to significantly decrease supply chain costs for our Central Oregon based customers, providing the cold chain infrastructure they need to continue their growth.” The Bend and Redmond area is home to dozens of food and beverage manufacturers, many of whom are currently served by SnoTemp’s Eugene location.
