Mission-driven organizations are navigating increasing complexity, shifting markets, stretched teams, and growing pressure to evolve while staying connected to their values and purpose. As organizations grow and change, things that once worked often begin to feel harder, creating friction across leadership, strategy, communication, and day-to-day operations.

Led by Jamie Lamonde of Kindship Group and Laura King of Laura King Consulting, this interactive workshop will help participants identify where their organization may be falling out of alignment and explore practical ways to move forward with greater clarity and cohesion. Through guided reflection, discussion, and a simple organizational framework centered around leadership, strategy, story, and structure, participants will gain language and tools to better understand the challenges they are experiencing and how to navigate them.

Designed for leaders and teams within mission-driven businesses, nonprofits, cooperatives, and food system organizations, this session will balance reflection, practical application, and peer conversation to help participants reconnect their work, priorities, and organizational direction.

I work with organic and regenerative food and agriculture organizations at moments of growth, transition and strategic inflection. As Founder & CEO of Kindship Group, I provide fractional CMO leadership and executive growth strategy to mission-driven organizations building long-term value in complex markets. My work sits at the intersection of revenue growth, brand positioning, organizational alignment and board-level governance. I partner with executive leadership teams and boards to clarify strategic direction, strengthen decision-making alignment, expand retail, e-commerce and ingredient channels and build sustainble, values-aligned growth systems.

Prior to founding Kindship Group, I spent 11 years on the marketing team at Organic Valley/CROPP Cooperative, contributing to growth from $156 million to $930 million in annual sales. I later founded Edible Madison magazine, helped guide the U.S. launch of Farmer Direct Organic and, at Wonderstate Coffee, led brand repositioning and retail and e-commerce growth while serving on the senior leadership team guiding organizational development. Today, my work spans CPG brands, ingredient suppliers, cooperatives and trade organizations committed to building a more resilient and regenerative food system. I live in the Driftless Region of southwest Wisconsin, where I serve as a trustee of the Kettle Trust and stay closely connected to the communities and food systems at the heart of my work.

My passion is to empower individuals to live in alignment with their values and strengths and bring their best self to their relationships and communities.

As a Coach, Facilitator and Mediator I center human relationships, mindfulness, and communication in my work. I know that at the heart of growing communities and organizations is growing each unique person. I have 25 years of experience exploring both the art and science of adult development while asking leaders to stretch inward for a more embodied leadership to cultivate connected and trusting teams. My workshops and coaching focus on the deeply human need to learn and innate desire to realize one’s full potential.

A front-row seat in how humans relate in groups and organizations has provided insight into how much time and energy is spent on avoiding what is difficult (conversations, people, and projects) managing people’s impressions, seeking external validation, while longing for more confidence to be authentic. Drawing on the wisdom of Adrienne Maree Brown, Brené Brown, Resmaa Menakem, David Whyte and leadership pioneers from Minds at Work and the Presencing Institute, I share insight on ways to achieve personal transformation and overcome obstacles to change. My work aligns with the inner development goals (being, thinking, relating, collaborating, acting) put forth by the UN as a pre-requisite for all sustainable global change.

I have an MA in Comparative Education from the University of Maryland College Park, am a Co-Active trained coach, Mediator, and Minds at Work trained facilitator.
