WORK TRADE OPPORTUNITIES
Provender Alliance is an outreach and educational non-profit organization for the natural products industry in the Northwest. We cannot do this great work without the support of the Provender community and in turn, we are able to provide work trade opportunities at our annual conference to help offset the cost of attendance. If you are interested in applying for work trade, please contact us no later than October 11th. We have a role for everyone who applies, so don’t be shy!
Customer service is our first and top priority. When you are approved for a work trade position, you will be asked to acknowledge and sign our Worker Guidelines, shown below.
Want to apply? Complete our Work Trade interest form! Have questions? Send a message to Meg Kennedy [email protected]
Professionalism All workers are expected to be courteous to one another and to treat our members and customers in a professional manner when performing work for or representing Provender.
Diversity Policy Provender Alliance is committed to providing a work environment free of unlawful discrimination or harassment. This includes discrimination or harassment based on any factors protected by law. In addition, the organization prohibits the harassment of any individual. This policy also applies to workers and treatment of members and customers. Any worker who requires an accommodation in order to perform the essential functions of a task should contact the Executive Director and request such an accommodation. If you believe you have been subjected to any form of unlawful discrimination, provide a verbal or written complaint to your supervisor or the Executive Director.
Training The worker’s supervisor will explain their specific task responsibilities and any performance expectations. Occasionally job responsibilities change or need to be reassigned. Your cooperation and flexibility is appreciated.
Communication and Grievance Communication and teamwork lead us to achieving our goals. Workers are encouraged to communicate directly to their supervisor. Our goal is to quickly and fairly resolve issues, in order to preserve our work relationships. Open, honest communication is the key to achieving this goal. Provender values your input, and you should feel free to raise issues of concern.
Confidentiality Each worker is expected to safeguard confidential information obtained in the course of their work.
Safety and Security It is essential that all workers participate in creating a safe work environment for everyone. Don’t leave stuff lying around. Protect Provender’s assets.
