Preparing Retailers for the Non-UPF Shopper | Mt. Hood Room

Shoppers are paying closer attention to ultra-processed foods—and they’re bringing their questions to the grocery store. This workshop will help retailers and their teams understand the growing demand for transparency around food processing, explore what the Non-UPF Verified Standard actually requires, and discover practical tools for supporting informed shopper conversations.

We’ll unpack new consumer research, explore the role retailers can play in closing the confidence gap around UPFs, and share resources designed to equip teams at every level with the knowledge and confidence to help shoppers navigate a changing food landscape.
