Jake Williams

Jake has been in the coffee industry since 2013, learning behind the bar at Starbucks in San Francisco he wanted to delve deeper into what’s behind the cup of coffee. From the Coffee Master course at Starbucks, eventually onto bigger & better beans with Equal Exchange his curiosity is always peaked. Currently, his role is Community Engagement & Co-Owner at Equal Exchange.

Jake has a Geography degree (Focus: Sustainable Food & Agriculture) from San Francisco State University where his passion for Food Systems began. He has a love for sharing stories from the coffee farms in Colombia, and connecting with people over a pourover of Love Buzz.

When not in the office, you may find him running Ultramarathons on Mt. Hood, sifting through his extensive vinyl & cassette collection or singing a Provender Parody on stage with Karaoke from Hell.
