His enthusiasm for “doing it better” and an understanding of product life from development to manufacturing through launch, sales, consumer use and end of life disposal shapes his ability to communicate the benefits of incorporating the sustainability and performance benefits of hemp across all steps of the supply and value chains. Joy Beckerman is an internationally renowned hemp industries leader who has been involved in the industrial hemp movement for over 30 years. Often referred to as a “hemp encyclopedia,” she is a Regulatory Specialist and the Principal at Hemp Ace International, a U.S.-based consulting, legal support, and expert witness firm serving the global hemp industries. Ms. Beckerman has contributed thousands of hours of service to the industrial hemp movement across decades, using her grassroots organizing, advocacy and professional legal support skills to advance legalization and common-sense regulation; and to educate the public, farmers, business owners, economic developers, academia, lawmakers and regulators.
